MANOR HOUSE SETTING IS NEW HOME FOR MARKET LEADER IN DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS

Business growth due to the digital switchover which commenced last year and rolls out across all TV regions by 2012 is one of the reasons leading to the relocation of one of the UK’s oldest manufacturers and suppliers of aerials.

Antiference established in 1936 shortly after Alexandra Palace in North London commenced broadcasting by the BBC, has relocated its design, commercial and administration facilities to Coleshill Manor Office Campus.

The move to dedicated office accommodation from Lichfield where Antiference shared premises with Integra Products was prompted by significant growth for both businesses. The recently constructed self contained offices in the award winning Gardens complex of the Grade 2 listed Coleshill Manor  have provided a threefold increase in space for Antiference.

Commenting on the move Antiference’s managing director Ian Denham said, “The combination of up to the minute design led office space in the stunning manor parkland is a fitting location for a market leading brand in the digital technology sector.”

“The campus style setting with immediate links to the motorway network and with close proximity to Birmingham International Airport and rail station has benefits for visiting customers and our domestic and export commercial sales teams”.

Antiference joins a growing number of occupiers in the digital communications sector along with creative, medical and marketing consultancies which have settled at the office campus. The quality of building design and landscaping led to a Civic Award following a £6 million refurbishment of the heritage landmark manor house and new build office scheme by Warwick based IM Properties.

Birmingham Property agents Eagleton and Company acting jointly with CBRE for developers IM Properties report that the letting of the final two properties on phase one of the scheme are now in solicitors hands. IM Properties are now commencing the master planning stage for a further phase with the objective of creating a 21st century office location with International Motor’s 37,000 sq ft (3,437 m2) headquarters building  setting the bench mark for leading edge building  design.
